Chinas Satellites

The last time I wrote about China it was because they were making military arms and parading them off. Now is Air force thinks that we need more satellites to watch over them and to see if they are launching any missiles over here. Now why would our own military think we need more stuff to watch them? Why would they need more weapons? This is coming right out of the article it self
“The U.S. continues to be suspicious of the communist giant's intentions, including its development of anti-satellite weapons”. I jut find most things about china suspicious. I don’t think any of them would try something but its always good to be careful.

The Test

I think that in the military you should have to take a more extensive psychological test to see if people have PTSD. In the article that I read it talked about a marine that went AWOL and made up stories about being in combat and killing people. If the military did more of a back ground check on family history and was able to see what is in the family history then they would be able to get people to not deserters there for a better army. The article said that he was treated for it before so why don’t they just let him go back so he can’t do that anymore. I think that they should let people into the military if they have problems but not mental problems. I read an article on a lady that wanted to bet a pilot, but here spine was of by seven degrees or something like that so they said no. she sued them or something and then they finally let here in. like my sister she might be sent back from Chicago because she had a stress fracture in her hip. They are going to give her physical therapy to see if she gets better. My point is that if you have something wrong with your head you should not be in the armed forces.

China Missiles

I think that China should have a good military, but to parade off the entire war shed that they have like that is just not right. In this article its name caught my eye because its name is, “Steel Great Wall”. To me that seemed cool until said how many nukes that china. Do you think that china should have a missile that is called Dongfeng-31A, it was made to go intercontinental with a ballistic missile that carries a nuclear warhead over the distance of 11,000 Kilometers away? Now they are trying to top the best military in the world. Then they started to show there planes, tanks, and what else, there missiles. Personally I don’t think that anyone of them over there should have those capabilities just because most of them can’t be trusted. We can have them because like someone in the military said “We aren’t conquers were Liberators”. So its up to you to decide whether they should have all of these things.

In the Fisch Bowl he wrights on the topic of the swine flu or N1H1 which is hitting everyone hard. There are more and more absences every day from it, but i am glad that the schools are taking all the steps to prevent it. I use to hate going to school but now that I'm trying and i have good grades i like it so I don't want to get sick. (A brake would be good though.)

Computers are a good thing in school and for doing work, and at my Arapahoe we just got over 198 new EEE PC that we can use in the class room which is good. I technology advances like with faster smarter computers farther on in time not have jobs and the only fun reason that it is is for the Friends and to take fun classes. I think tech should advance but I'm just no Shir if it should be this fast. Mr. Fisch talks about the settings on the computers that if you mess up big it has a ten second reset that to me (someone who doesn't get almost the simplest thing about computers like me thinks that is pretty cool.) the thing i fined the oldest is the automatic recovery button. then he goes on telling about how to edit pages.

Roger Penske is a well known racer from the Indianapolis 500 race car drive and owns his own car dealership, but what he is now being recognized for is trying to buy the Saturn company from G.M. and turn the company that hasn't done good from the start into a company that will pay back there $50 billion in Federal loans. I think that what he is trying to do for this company is good because it is not good to get so caught up in debt that you can’t pay for the money that was loaned to you. But I wouldn't see the point of helping a failing company that most say was doomed from the start. If people start to build a higher class car instead of the cheap Saturn than they would not be in the mess they are in now, like Saab, it is a good running car though it might not hold its resale value and parts are not cheap it still runs for a long time without breaking down. Did you know that a Saab's transmission will never go bad and if we had more cars build to higher standards like most for en cars we wouldn't have to spent money to buy a new car therefore that would not come close to an old cars

I thought that the "The machine is us/ing us" video was vary interesting because it talks about on like paper you can olnly do what you know how to do but with a computer you can expand far beound that. on a computer you can do almost anything posible.that is what the video is showing us about the futre of technaligy and wrighting. if you wright something on the computer it can automaticly fix it self, but on paper it takes more thought aand skill.

In the article "The new literacy" it is more like the downer side of the 21 centery wrighting like saying that the modern teenage slang for words like wat instead onf what. i think that some sacrifice has to be made in wrighting and if taking off H in words like what then so be it but the rules of wrighting should not change for a formall asiment.
